GAPS Meal Ideas Stage 1

The number of days you are on Stage 1 is dependent on your individual symptoms.


  1. Mug of meat stock with meat pieces and carrot.

  2. Mug of fish stock with fish pieces and broccoli.

  3. Fish stock with fish and vegetables with small amount of fermented juice.

  4. Just meat/fish and vegetables cooked in the meat/fish stock.

  5. Carrot cream soup with cultured cream/yoghurt/kefir.

  6. Squash cream soup with cultured cream/yoghurt/kefir.

  7. Boiled (in meat stock) broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions and leeks serve with fermented dairy.

  8. Meat jelly with meat/veggies.

  9. Yoghurt/kefir with honey.

  10. Fat bombs between meals.

  11. You can drink ginger, mint, and camomile tea between meals.
